Artistic photographs showcase Gordon Guillaumier's signature beds

A unique photographic look at the Alf DaFrè bed collection, born from a design dialogue with Gordon Guillaumier and recounted in Private View. A journey that connects design and memory, intimacy and interpretation, revealing not only the form of the object but also its most personal dimension.

‘Everyone carries with them a wealth of tastes and passions, desires and memories. Sometimes these memories are unconscious, images that we don't even know we have stored in our memory,’ explains Guillaumier.

Giving visual expression to this idea is the gaze of Mattia Balsamini, who uses light, angles and perspectives to interpret beds as intimate and silent presences. His images reveal their deepest soul, transforming each shot into a story suspended between design and real life.

Neyõ bed

The concept of hospitality finds its point of contact in this project. Not just simple furniture, but a true place of rest, capable of welcoming and defining the space with balance and personality. With Neyõ, the bed becomes an intimate and architectural experience: essential lines, measured proportions and refined details draw a perimeter that is both a refuge and a frame.

Its presence interacts harmoniously with the other elements in the room, including the integrated bedside table, designed as a natural extension of the bed. Made of marble, it rotates to reveal an internal storage space, perfect for storing books or small objects. In Neyõ, comfort, formal research and functionality coexist, offering a contemporary and complete interpretation of domestic rest.

Yume bed

If Morpheus takes the form of dreams at night, the shape of this bed suggests other possible interpretations. Discover Yume – Design and awareness, starting with the structure, photographed by Mattia Balsamini for the Private View campaign.

The headboard of Yume is made from a curved wooden core, crafted from FSC-certified plywood and multiflex, designed to precisely follow the soft lines of the design. A construction choice that also looks to the future: all materials – wood, metal and padding – are recyclable and partly already come from recycling processes.

The padding in polyurethane with different densities, combined with the removable cover system, ensures comfort and facilitates maintenance, transforming every moment of rest into an experience of sustainable and contemporary well-being.
