Raffaella Mangiarotti

Raffaella Mangiarotti is an architect and designer who lives and works in Milan. She studied architecture and has a PhD in environmental design. She works as a researcher at Milan’s Polytechnic University. After collaborating with Marco Zanuso and Francesco Trabucco, she founded deepdesign with Matteo Bazzicalupo, designing innovative and mass-produced products. In 2010, she founded the Raffaella Mangiarotti studio, where she specialises in furniture design, art direction, showrooms and exhibition stands, creating designs for international brands. Some of her products are exhibited in museums and are part of permanent collections such as the MoMA. Some have also won important international awards. In 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2022, she was appointed global Ambassador of Italian Design.
