Pols and Stiks: an unpublished story about these two new collections

Pols table
The surface of the tabletop, slightly rippled in a vibrating liquid, reveals the interlocking joints and unveils the detail as a design feature: between past and present. A design detail that characterises the Pols table and the Stiks chair. Designed by Gordon Guillaumier for Alf DaFrè.
The Pols table stands out for its solid ash wood structure, known for its durability, strength and natural beauty. The marked grain enhances the aesthetics, while the craftsmanship highlights the nuances and joints between the legs and structure. Available in all Fashion Wood finishes, it adapts to different styles: from warm colours to dark and sophisticated variations.
The annealed glass top is obtained through a complex artisanal process: the glass, melted several times and moulded on a matrix, takes on a unique texture with a lunar effect. Available in amber and bronze finishes, it combines visual elegance and tactile texture, allowing a glimpse of the underlying structure and reinforcing the identity of a table that combines design, material and durability.

Stiks chair
The distinctive feature of Stiks, which pairs perfectly with the Pols table, is the refined interlocking design, which is both structural and formal. This detail creates an enveloping backrest, designed to complement the comfort of the seat, which is made with foams specially developed to optimise ergonomics.
A construction system that expresses the union between Alf DaFrè's know-how, Gordon Guillaumier's creative vision and innovation in the processing of materials. With over 120 upholstery options including fabrics, leathers and velvets from the Alf DaFrè range, Stiks is highly customisable and allows you to create moods in harmony with the lacquers and finishes offered in the systems and accessories for the living area.
A seat that expresses itself through the rationality of its orthogonal structure, contrasting with the concave and convex curves of the upholstery: a balance of shapes and languages that becomes style. A design identity born from the encounter between Gordon Guillaumier and Alf DaFrè, narrated in the monograph Private View.
